Nullarbor Plain

In only 2 days we drove through the whole Nullarbor Desert from Esperance to Whyalla (1800km). After 1200km we stayed overnight at the Nullarbor Roadhouse. The highest temperature reading was 50°C, the average temperature during the day was 47°C. Nevertheless I had my pleasure to capture the loneliness and special features of this desert. Roadtrucks with more than 4 trailers, abandoned roadhouses, ghost towns that were abandoned more than 100 years ago, like the impressive sunset in front of our roadhouse.

Photo tip: Being in the right place at the right time saves a filter and HDR effects. Sometimes less is more!
